Taylor Bell Field

A look at the field during a Little League tournament game.

Quick Facts:
The home of the Clayton Little League program is on the southwestern edge of this Gloucester County borough, off Delsea Drive (NJ 47, the main strip in town) but easily accessible from the NJ 55 freeway.

The field is named in honor of H. Taylor Bell, who helped found the league in Clayton as well as the league in Elmer, several miles away. He also served 38 years as a Little League district administrator.

Taylor Bell Field hosted the 2007 New Jersey Little League state finals, at which Randolph East won the title after Jackson Township had rallied from the losers’ bracket to force a showdown game.
