Van Ness Avenue has curves both west and east of Park Avenue. It begins from Edgewood Place and bends to the right to reach Park Avenue. It jogs to the right as it crosses the main street and then does a slight "S" curve near Delafield Avenue. Then it straightens out, but it takes another jog to the right at Lincoln Avenue before it ends at Wilson Avenue. Addresses are designated as east and west, divided by Park Avenue.
