Kiwanis, with a magic number of one to win the National League, takes on Kurgan (1-12) 24-Jun. The game is called for darkness after 8 innings with a 4-4 tie. When play resumes two days later, Kurgan pulls out a surprising 10-9 victory. The game lasted 13 innings, a regular-season record, and took a total of 3:47 to finish. Ten players came to bat seven times.
