For years, an Alaska Highway trip was on my “bucket list”. I finally knocked it off in 2019, along with a drive up the mostly unpaved Dalton Highway to Prudhoe Bay and a trip to Denali National Park and Preserve. I also drove to the ends of some other roads, in Seward, Homer, and Skagway. I've missed a lot of the state, but that will have to wait until I take a cruise or fly to some remote areas.
