Doc Young Field

A look in at Doc Young Field from down the right-field line, Mar-2013.
No lights here; they're on a nearby soccer field.

The view from behind the plate, including the impressive Simon Forum indoor recreation facility.

A Ranger goes into his swing in this view taken from just beyond the first-base dugout.

Quick Facts:
Drew University, a private school participating in NCAA Division III athletics, plays their home baseball games at this well-groomed but otherwise nondescript facility on campus.

Seating here is limited to five-high bleachers on an artificial rise above the first-base line. As a result, many fans sit in lawn chairs down the third-base side (the Rangers sit in the third-base dugout). There is no side fence separating spectators from the action; chalk lines are used to mark the boundaries of play.
