The museum pays tribute to the people and places who have made baseball history throughout the Tar Heel State. One section includes programs, scorecards, and the like from various teams in the states history, while another exhibit is devoted to players from the state who are enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame, such as Buck Leonard and Catfish Hunter.
Open hours are Thursday through Sunday. The museum is staffed by volunteers; there is a nominal admission fee.
