Prior to the 2012 season, a new, uniquely shaped and “green” building was installed as a fieldhouse for the Little League. As of July 2015, Veterans Field was the only field used for Major level baseball in its Little League district to still feature a dirt infield; however, artificial turf was installed that November. The complex is now adaptable for as many as three baseball or softball fields, with the main field usable for two different pitching and base distances, and the other two fields are dismantled to allow for football or soccer in the fall.
