Doran Park was opened in 2006 by Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical High School to serve their Rams baseball team as well as the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod League, a college summer league. The field was dedicated in the summer of 2007 to George Doran, a resident of nearby Sagamore Beach who always followed the sport and the league.

As you see, there is no actual bleacher seating here. Fans sit on the berm on the third-base side, on terraces along the first-base side, or in folding chairs that they bring. Concessions are available from a stand near the third-base entrance.
