Home team: Houma Hawks, Southeastern League (2003)
Capacity: 200; unknown (2003)
Southland Field, owned by the local recreation district, was picked to be the home of the Houma Hawks of the independent Southeastern League, which had begun the year before. However, the city locked the team out of the park after just three games in a dispute over the filing of proper paperwork. The club wound up playing games in Morgan City, Reserve, and even Baton Rouge before finishing the year the second and last that the league played as a road team.
I was not able to get into Southland Field on my 2020 visit.
