Quick Facts:
Memorial Field is one of several municipal park facilities in the city of Anderson, which may be best known as the home of Anderson College, the institution of higher education run by the Church of God, which is headquartered in the city.

The ballpark is simply constructed, with aluminum seating and a simple press box. The scoreboard is a full 10-inning model, which at least gives you the idea that professional baseball could be played here. Actually, the field is maintained remarkably well.

The Anderson Lawmen were one of the four teams in the ill-fated Mid-America League in 1995. For 1996, the Lawmen jumped to the Heartland League along with the Lafayette Leopards. While the Leopards rode the Heartland League to its 1998 conclusion, the Lawmen folded after the 1997 season.
