Quick Facts:
This complex has been around for nearly 70 years, if not longer. The Cincinnati Reds used it for their back fields when they played spring training games (and had a minor league affiliate) at Al Lopez Field, just to the north. That site is now occupied by Raymond James Stadium, home of the NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Today, the New York Yankees, whose main complex is across from the football stadium at Steinbrenner Field, utilize these fields for minor league workouts and Florida Complex League games.

In addition to the Yankees, Hillsborough Community College has an agreement to play here. The Dale Mabry campus of the school is adjacent to Steinbrenner Field. The field depicted here, designated Field #2, does not even have a scoreboard; Field #1, where most of the Gulf Coast League games are played, has a regular 10-inning scoreboard available.
