While the organizers who put on camps and host tournaments seem to have a good bead on how to make these events flow well, drawing travel teams season after season, the place could be a bit more fan-friendly. Spectators, such as family and friends of players, are charged an admission fee of $5 per person per day. In addition, food coolers are not permitted anywhere near the fields (although teams can bring in beverage containers), in order to maximize sales from facility concession stands.
I also heard a complaint from at least one travel team that certain of the regulation (60-foot pitching distance, 90-foot basepaths) fields had fences that were too short for that level of play. This was in 2008; the complex expansion was completed in 2009 and so that problem may have been rectified. Other fields have varying distances, such as 46/60 (compatible with Little League) or 50/70.
