Highways of Bergen County, New Jersey

Bergen County Roads 102 are two different alignments in Closter. I am not sure which alignment was commissioned first, so I am listing them in the order they are given in the NJDOT straight-line diagrams.

The first begins at Schraalenburgh Road in Harrington Park and heads east into Closter, where it bypasses a large part of the business section.

Mile Street Name Feature (West to East)
0.00 CR 102 BEGINS, Harrington Park Boro

0.68 Harrington Ave Branch Dwarskill Creek {bridge}
1.02 Harrington Ave Old Closter Dock Rd, CR 102 – see below, MP 0.52
1.02 CR 102 ENDS, Closter Boro

The second section begins midway through the first section, runs through a business district, and eventually meets up with CR 502. Old signs indicating CR 102 runs up the hill to Alpine existed into the 21st century; undoubtedly Closter Dock Road was considered part of CR 102 at one time.
