At one time, the road ran over the Dunkerhook Road bridge by Saddle River County Park, but that bridge has been out of service for years. The road leading to that bridge from Paramus Road remains as CR S-76; the section in Fair Lawn has been decommissioned.
Contrary to popular belief, Century Road in Paramus – an exit off NJ 17 which contains, among other things, a motor vehicle inspection station – is not part of the county road system.
