Quick Facts:
- Location: Wichita Street ½ mile north of IH-20, Fort Worth, Texas
- Opened: Unknown
- Home team: Fort Worth Cats, All-American Association (2001)
- Capacity: 2,500 (approx.)
Lon Goldstein Field is on the athletic field campus of the Fort Worth Independent School District. It is adjacent to the football stadium as well as the events center (which hosts basketball games and other indoor events) and the school bus parking lot.
The All-American Association lasted just one year, 2001, and the Fort Worth Cats used this field while waiting for the completion of construction on the rebuilt LaGrave Field just north of downtown. With the demise of the Association, the Cats found a new home in the Central League.
I was unable to get into Lon Goldstein Field on my 2005 visit.
