Quick Facts:
Charlotte County established North Charlotte Regional Park on 103 acres between Tamiami Trail and El Jobean Road in 2003. The park includes five baseball fields, a softball field, and four soccer fields as well as a disc golf course and a dog park. Nature trails are also featured; alligators can often be seen within one of the ponds in the park.

Each March, an organization called Snowbird Baseball puts together a slate of college baseball for teams on spring break. Both Division I and Division III teams play numerous games over a period of several weeks. Some of the games overflow to Charlotte Sports Park when the Rays are not training.
