Quick Facts:
In 2009, Polk County and the City of Auburndale teamed to develop this sizable complex for soccer and baseball. Each sport has a stadium field, with the baseball stadium accommodating 500 spectators. There are eight other baseball fields in the complex, as well as a total of 11 soccer fields. The Florida Youth Soccer Association has its headquarters here, and the Florida Sports Hall of Fame is also housed at the facility.

I first attended events here in 2019, baseball games that were part of the RussMatt Invitational. That enterprise schedules and hosts college baseball games at all NCAA levels throughout March at Auburndale as well as other sites in Polk and Osceola counties. Schools taking spring break trips from cooler climes get to play warm-weather games against suitable opponents.
