Gallaher School

The regulation field at Gallaher School Park, Mar-2010.

This simple scaffold can be covered with a tarp for game and tournament use.

Quick Facts:
This New Castle County park east of the city limits of Newark, Del., is not far off Route 273 or the Delaware Turnpike (I-95). That made it an ideal site for a Babe Ruth League 16U regional tournament of which I attended a doubleheader in 2008. I did not take any field photos that day, but I returned a year and a half later, the morning after watching a doubleheader at the University of Delaware, four miles away.

In general, the fields here are used by the teams at the school across Brownleaf Road as well as by various levels of the Newark National Little League.
