Quick Facts: Rating: 4 baseballs
This former country club site, part of the Talking Stick Resort on the land of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community adjacent to Scottsdale, opened in 2011 to host the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies for spring training. Both clubs (Rockies and D-backs) moved their facilities from Tucson.

The new facility was an instant hit, with the Diamondbacks (the team of local interest, playing their home games in central Phoenix) averaging over 11,000 fans per Cactus League game. For one contest during 2014 spring training, they jammed nearly 13,000 into the park.

In addition to spring training, the Major League Baseball-sponsored Arizona Fall League, a prospect development program playing in October and November, utilizes the park.
