Highways of Passaic County, New Jersey

County Road 612

Passaic County Road 612 is the continuation of Cedar Grove’s Lindsley Road back into Little Falls.

Lindsley Road begins at Main Street in Little Falls and heads east, as CR 604. A mere 250 feet into its course, it enters North Caldwell and becomes Essex CR 604. But after another mile and a half, it meets the Passaic County line again and shortly changes its name to Francisco Avenue, becoming CR 612. Why the CR 604 designation is not retained on this side of town, even though the street has a different name, is beyond me. Then again, Passaic County has no signs for its highway, anyhow.
