Lions kept the pressure on Elks, and finished just one game back, as they topped Keller Engineering, 13-7, in a crucial contest. It was the eighth straight win for the Lions, who batted around in the second inning and scored seven runs on the bats of Kyle Hooton, Tom Ferrullo and Vinnie DeCesare. Jin Froehlich won his fifth game of the year for Lions and drove in two runs. DeCesare finished with three doubles and Hooton had three RBIs. For Keller, George Anderson, Kevin Finnerty, Bob Szymanski, Ron Serio and Chris Caputo each had two hits.
