Runner-up Kiwanis posted a 9-2 win over B. Altman & Co. to finish just one game back of Springs in the final standings. Joe Papenberg got the win as he struck out 15 batters and scattered four hits, including a double and single by Jim Chominsky. Dave Brooks and Brian Jones led the Kiwanis hitters.
