Boiling Springs topped Critchley Candy, 2-0, in a playoff game for the National League flag.
The National League playoff matched Springs and hurler Wes Chominsky against Critchley’s top pitcher, Greg Pavick. Each allowed only one hit, but Springs took advantage of some sloppy defense to score two runs in the second inning.
