Rotary and Boiling Springs shared honors Friday in a free-scoring game which wound up with each side getting nine runs and seven hits to tie 9-9, called because of darkness at the end of six innings.
Frank Pico and Billy Norville pitched for Rotary, with Johnny Stoehs catching. Bobby Cuny hurled for Boiling Springs, with Gil Steinberger catching. Jim Gaffney of Boiling Springs homered.
