Fred Dowd, pitching for Kiwanis in the National Rutherford Little League, held Rotary to two hits last Wednesday to win 2-0. Kiwanis got their runs in the opening inning, after that it was a pitchers’ battle.
Danny Mitchell caught for Kiwanis. Gary Vanderels hurled for Rotary, giving up four hits. John Stoehs caught.
