Billy Hands and Frank Pollara combined to pitch Rotary to a 10-2 win over last-place Kiwanis last Friday which placed the long-time league leaders back into a first-place tie with JCC.
An eight-run rally in the second did the trick.
Kiwanis scored in the first on a walk, Jeep Porters single, the only Kiwanis hit of the game, and two more passes. Two errors and Hands single tied the count in the bottom of the frame, but Kiwanis made it 2-1 on three errors their next time up.
Four walks, Jack Kreilings single, Hands double and Bob Dionisios home run broke up the game in the bottom of the inning.
