The Junior Chamber started its assault on first last Wednesday when they broke a second place deadlock dropping the Pastore nine by 4-2. A three run third inning was what did the damage for the JCC’s.
With Pastore leading 1-0 after Maull had scored in the second, Pastores’s Daigle led off the third and was hit by the pitcher. Singles by Butcher and Schweiser followed, with the third tally crossing on Muller’s infield out.
Pastore scored again in the fourth on a single by Maull, and the Jaycees added one insurance run in the sixth when DeWitt Walker, who had tripled, scored on Butcher’s grounder.
