The list differentiates players by their dates and places of birth, where available (so, for instance, the Jim Abbott who pitched in the Twins organization in the early 2000s is distinguished from the Jim Abbott who threw a no-hitter for the Yankees in 1993). For each player, the seasons and teams are identified, and a link to the box score and play-by-play for each game I saw the player play for that team and season is included.
Please note that for Chinese players, naming convention is that the family name is shown first, so for instance Lu Xuhong is listed under Lu and not under Xuhong. The exception is for a player who took an English name, such as Bruce Wang, listed under Wang. (Generally, Korean and Taiwanese players who have played in the major or affiliated minor leagues have adopted the Western naming convention for their professional careers; thus, for instance, Ji-Man Choi is correctly listed under Choi.)
Thanks to Baseball-Reference.com for most of the biographical information and player differentiation. I also utilized MLB Advanced Media and The Baseball Cube, along with websites of various college baseball programs and other available documents.
Have fun exploring!
