Randolph Avenue is unique in that only one block of it carries traffic in both directions. From its origin at Highland Avenue on the Passaic-Clifton line to a merge with Parker Avenue, it is one-way northbound. From Clifton Avenue to its northern end at Lexington Avenue, it is one-way southbound. The latter section became a one-way road when NJ 21 was completed adjacent to it, and an exit ramp was built allowing direct access onto Randolph Avenue.
