The naming sponsor is a credit union originally formed to serve employees of the Savannah River Plant, a nuclear reactor site opened in the 1950s where, among other things, the subatomic particle known as the neutrino was discovered. SRP Federal Credit Union is based in North Augusta.

The handsome facility features a now-common wraparound concourse with multiple social areas especially in the outfield. One nice feature is an upper-deck bar and viewing area beyond right field that provides a good look not only at the action, but also at the river. Additionally, there is an apartment complex in left field from which some residents can view the game. Otherwise, the seating bowl is in a single level, appropriate for this level of play. There is a season ticket holder lounge on an upper level along the first-base line.

There is a parking garage a block or two from the field; the team runs golf cart shuttles if fans need them. It is also possible to park on neighborhood streets.
