Plucinsky-Ward Field

From center field, the more expansive (and newer) first-base bleachers along with the smaller set down the third-base line.

The field is near the highest point in the borough, marked by the water tower.

In 2012, the field was reconfigured slightly, bringing its fence distance to a minimum of 195 feet all around. The distance is well over 200 feet to most of left and center field. Along with other significant facility renovations, this brought the facility in line to host the 2012 state 12U softball finals. The next year, the league was tabbed to host the state 12U baseball finals.

Renovations prior to the 2013 state finals also included a reconstruction of the dugout area, which had been unusually small but is now rather spacious. The park also features a pitcher warm-up alley down each foul line as well as a batting cage down the left-field line.

The field faces north, looking at a bluff containing a water tower. A dirt path leads down from center field toward the borough’s middle school and high school.
