Hall Stadium

Entrance to Hall Stadium, Mar-2013.

A look in at the field from down the right-field line.

A batter gets set for his turn during a spring travel game.

Quick Facts:
Hall Stadium was carved out across the street from the railroad tracks, not far from the NJ Transit station that serves Kean University, in the fall of 1953 to serve the new Union Little League, which serves the township with two leagues, American and National.

The field, which is of good-sized dimensions for Little League play, has hosted numerous district and sectional tournament games over the years. I attended contests here in 1992 and 1996.

I am not sure who the Hall was for whom the facility is named. I saw no tribute to him at the site.
