Home of the Tigers

Clarke Field on the Princeton University campus, Apr-2010.

The only fixed seating here is on the first-base line, behind the visitor dugout. Princeton Stadium is in the background.

A look at the field from behind the plate.

Quick Facts:
The Princeton University baseball team plays its home games at this simple field adjacent to Princeton Stadium, the new football stadium that replaced old Palmer Stadium in the late 1990s.

The field is in an amphitheater of sorts, with permanent seating built into the hill above the first base line but none on the third-base line. The press box is a free-standing structure behind the plate; there is no other seating in that area. Many fans watch the game from the hilltop as well, bringing their own chairs or sitting on a limited number of park benches.
