The park was shoehorned into a rhombus-shaped lot bounded by Chestnut, Denbigh, Malvern, and Hanover streets. The field takes up about half the block. The outfield distance here is short, especially in center field, where it is about 175 feet thanks to the location of Denbigh Street. A 24-foot outfield wall helps make up most of the difference and also keeps many balls from flying out into the street, where many spectators set up lawn chairs on the sidewalk to watch the action.

In 2011, an old clubhouse and press box building was replaced with a new facility that includes a concession stand and indoor batting cages. There are also stands, with an overhang, built alongside the clubhouse, which runs down the right field line. Press box functions are now handled in an outdoor covered pavilion above and behind the plate.
