The Peacock Struts Here

Jaroschak Field at Jersey City’s Lincoln Park, Apr-2006. The Pulaski Skyway is in the distance.

A look in from right field. The smokestacks in the distance are across the Hackensack River in Kearny.

Another look at the first-base dugout, bleacher, and scoreboard.

Quick Facts:
The baseball program at Saint Peter’s College (Saint Peter’s University as of the 2012-13 school year) moved to their own field in the west end of Jersey City’s Lincoln Park in the late 1990s.

Jaroschak Field is on the west end of Lincoln Park, a Hudson County park. The field is reached by entering the main park section and then crossing over the Blakeslee Route and heading toward the Hackensack River. The field is several hundred feet from the river and is visible from Communipaw Avenue, which is part of the old Lincoln Highway (thus the park’s name).
