Rosamond High School

A look through the backstop at the Rosamond High School field, Aug-2004.

The seating as of 2004.

The playing surface.

Quick Facts:
This high school field appears to be the home, for several games anyhow, of the Antelope Valley Ravens of the Golden State League, which lasted for all of two weeks in 1995. The field lights you see were not even functional the day the Ravens opened. By all reports, these are the same bleachers that were available to Ravens fans at that time.

With the demise of the independent league, area baseball fans resorted to watching California League games at the “real” facility in Lancaster, 12 miles south. The JetHawks arrived the year after the Ravens disappeared, and lasted for 24 seasons.
