Mon 19-Jun-2006: Triple-A Championship
The Triple-A Minor League championship went to West End Fire Co. 3, who rallied from a 5-0 third-inning deficit to defeat Ellwood S. New, 10-5. Mike Lozner started the rally by smashing a three-run homer to right, and Stephen Kaufman knotted the score with a fifth-inning single. Logan Gardner doubled home another run in the sixth, while Sean Kennedy added a double and a single. Kirk Ohanian and David Muñoz both doubled for New.
