Rutherford Little League Hosts 2005 Section Tournament

For the first time since 1995, Rutherford Little League hosted a sectional bracket in the Little League Baseball Tournament.

The New Jersey Section 2 tournament featured the 12-year-old district champions from Districts 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. It opened Tuesday 19-Jul and ended Saturday 23-Jul (an “if necessary” game was scheduled for Sunday 24-Jul but not played). The sectional champion advanced to the state final bracket at Livingston American Little League.
