State Highways of New Jersey

SR 528 starts in downtown Bordentown and cuts a swath across the central part of the state, ending up at Ocean Avenue in Mantoloking. Along the way, it runs concurrently with SR 527 for several miles in Jackson (where it is known as Veterans Highway for its 12 miles in the township), and it also passes the home stadium of the Lakewood BlueClaws, at the corner of CR 623, New Hampshire Avenue. That park, along with other development in the area, prompted the construction of an interchange with the Garden State Parkway a mile and a half east of the ballpark. Exit 89 opened in 2003.
