State Highways of New Jersey

NJ 156 is an original section of NJ 25 in the Yardville section of Hamilton Township in Mercer County. In the early 1950s, the State Highway Commission expanded NJ 25 (now US 130) to four lanes and built a bypass of this stretch a few hundred feet to the east, but this road remains under state maintenance.
