State Highways of New Jersey

NJ 152 is Longport-Somers Point Boulevard, connecting the two cities via a series of causeways and viaducts built by the state. The highway does not quite reach Longport, as the final bridge over the Great Thorofare is maintained by Atlantic County. That crossing, the John F. Kennedy Bridge, was completed in the mid-1960s; the state-maintained bridges were all replaced during 1988 and 1989.

The highway number comes from the road’s proximity to NJ 52, which crosses from Somers Point to Ocean City.
